A contract for building the racecourse in Pruszkow has been signed between Mostostal Pulawy S.A. and Polish Cycling Association (PZKol.). Mostostal Pulawy S.A. is General Contractor of that undertaking and contract value is 41,7 million PLN.
It is planned that the erection works will start in January 03 and putting to use is planned till the end of December 04.
The cycle racecourse in Pruszkow will be the only in Poland (and probably also across Eastern Europe) such a prestigious sports object of that kind.
Took place a ceremony of opening of an overpass road over PKP and LHS railway lines in Zawada, on the National Road No 74 Szczebrzeszyn - Zamosc.
Took place a ceremony of laying a cornerstone for MELAMINE III building site within the Nitrogen Works in Pulawy (Zakłady Azotowe "Pulawy" S.A.). A Honorary Guest of the event was the Prime Minister of Poland - Mr Leszek Miller. MELAMINE III Plant is the biggest building site of the Polish chemical industry presently. The first shipments of melamine will leave the factory in December of 2003.
Took place opening of the second suspension bridge in Warsaw - the Siekierkowski Bridge. The Honorary Guests of the event were: President Aleksander Kwasniewski, Prime Minister Leszek Miller, Primate of Poland Jozef Glemp, and Mayor of Warsaw Wojciech Kozak. The Siekierkowski Bridge is the 7th and the longest crossing over the Vistula river in Warsaw.
Took place the IV Family Gala "Good-bye Summer". Puławy Culture Centre "Dom Chemika" was organizing this event. Interesting artistic programme as well as beautiful weather attracted lots of people from Puławy and from neighbourhood. Mostostal Puławy S.A. co-operates actively in organizing the event from the begining of its history; this time Mostostal was a leading sponsor of the gala.
