Historical outline
The history of „MEZAP” goes back to 1964, when the company was started as a Mechanical Plant within the framework of the Nitric Plants „Pulawy“ Joint Stock Company. In 1993 as a result of ownership transformations a new, independent company was established The Equipment Construction and Specialized Maintenance Company "MEZAP" Ltd.
In 2005 after taking over the control package of MEZAP by Mostostal Pulawy S.A., it became a member of Mostostal Pulawy Group.
Mostostal Pulawy S.A. holds 6727 shares i.e. 97.00% of the original capital authorising to 97.00% of votes at the Meeting of Shareholders of Pulawy Mostostal Group.
The company has been developing dynamically at the Polish market and recently also in EU countries e.g. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France and others.
Scope of business operation
The basic scope of MEZAP operation is manufacturing and repairs of the apparatus and equipment used in the chemical, petrochemical, power, paper and food industry i.e.:
- High pressure and non-pressure vessels
- Water heaters and steam boilers
- Various types of heat exchangers
- Spray coolers and jacket coolers
- Reactors
- Coils for boilers
- Column apparatus
- Filters housing
- Mixers, evaporators, separators.
MEZAP has also a team specialising in the crane and weighing equipment. It deals with all works related to the crane, hoist and lifting equipment including the repairs and rectification of tracks. It offers the following scope of services:

Assembly, delivery, set-up of crane equipment (hoists, travelling cranes, davits);

Overhauls, repairs, upgrading of stationary cranes, travelling cranes and hoists;

Preparation of equipment for commissioning and registration at the branches of the Office of Technical Inspection;

Overhaul of train weighers, car weighers, pendulum-cam scales, more precise equal-arm balances and pendulum-cam scales, standard equal-arm combination weighers, standard non-equal arm combination weighers, standard poise Combination scales;

Preparation of the a/m weighing equipment for legalisation at the Measurements and Quality Office.
MEZAP is an official distributor of belt lifting slings and fastening equipment manufactured by the German company - SpanSet.
