Historical outline
The history of ENERGEZAP goes back to 1994 when, based on ownership transformations which the Nitric Plants „Pulawy“ Joint Stock Company underwent, Power Maintenance Company "ENERGEZAP" Ltd. was established. The technical and human resources were provided by Energetic Repairs Unit being part of the Heat and Power Plant organisational structure.
In 2005, due to taking over the shares in the company by Mostostal Pulawy S.A., ENERGEZAP became part of Mostostal Pulawy Group. Mostostal Pulawy S.A. holds 1376 shares i.e. 92.29% of the original capital authorising to 92.29 % votes at the meeting of shareholders.
Scope of business operation
ENERGEZAP specialises in rendering assembly and overhaul services regarding mechanical works related to the main equipment of heat and power generating plants: steam boilers and turbines and auxiliary equipment and systems of boiler houses, engine rooms, carburization, water purification and power networks. It also carries out the following:
- overhaul of single-stage and multi-stage rotodynamic pumps- mixed -flow pumps, gear pumps, piston pumps
- overhaul of pressure vessels, regeneration economizers as well as and tubular and flat heat exchangers etc.;
- overhaul of industrial fans
- systems made of PVC pipes and plates, polyethylene, polypropylene
- regeneration of chemically resistant coatings
- vulcanisation of 600 - 1200 mm conveyor belts
- bulldozer diagnostics and operational maintenance
- drives and transmission gears overhauls
- spare parts ( turning Lmax=3000 mm, Ø 730 mm , vertical milling up to 700 mm - table feed, cylindrical grinding Lmax =800 mm, Ø 200 mm)
- prefabrication and assembly of the structure elements and high pressure systems
Technical facilities
In order to ensure high quality of the works carried out the Company possesses:
- shop floor - area 2500 m2 with Q-5t travelling crane
- machining group (lathes, milling machine, grinding machine, upright drilling machine, frame saws etc.)
- welding equipment: KEPI, FRONIUS, ESSAB, BESTER of various capacity and versatile use
- 30KW annealing machine
- lifting and transport equipment available as well as means of internal transport (battery-electric trucks, fork lift truck etc.)
- high pressure washing equipment
- heating plates for vulcanisation
- bevelling machines for pipes Ø 32-300, lapping machines for valves
- hydraulic lifts up to 100 tons
- professional electric tools (grinders, bolting machines, hammers, cutting-off machines, sabre saws etc.)
- sets of spanners of general and specialised use (torque spanners, imperial spanners – for bulldozers overhaul etc.)
Licences
The Company holds licences issued by the Office of Technical Supervision to manufacture, assemble, overhaul and modernise high pressure and non-pressure equipment and piping.
