Mostostal Pulawy S.A. is already realizing the second stage of the project for the biggest railroad investment in Denmark in the last years. It is the construction of a light, urban access railroad line, so called Copenhagen Ring Road.
In the first stage we made and delivered 6 steel viaducts with total weight of about 800 tons. The second stage is currently in progress: four railroad viaducts and two pedestrian and bicycle overpasses with a total weight of about 1,100 tons.
We are transporting huge objects: they have a span of 70 meters and we divide them into two transport parts. The weight of each of the transported elements fluctuates between 102-108 tons.
Currently, the first batch of deliveries has set off: two viaducts and a pedestrian and bicycle overpass. The second delivery is planned for May this year. The transport will go to Gdansk to Nowy Port, where it will be unloaded and then put on a transport barge. The barge will be towed to the port of Hobro in Denmark, from where the elements will be transported to the assembly site in Copenhagen.
