On 11 October 2022 the President Tadeusz Rybak took part in the 19th Congress of the Polish Chamber of Steelwork that was held at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre in Józefów near Warsaw. For many years this has been the largest forum for the exchange of opinions, knowledge and expertise on the broadly defined steel construction sector. This year the 19th edition of this event took place.
This Congress consists of substantive thematic presentations. The first session was devoted to the growing prices of steel, problems with international transport, shortage of employees, and other issues of our environment.
A Special Guest of the Congress was Aleksander Kwaśniewski, President of the Republic of Poland from 1995 to 2005. In his one-hour-long speech he raised the topic of the broadly defined geopolitical situation and dynamic global changes caused by the war in Ukraine. Aleksander Kwaśniewski talked about possible scenarios of the development of this conflict and their influence on the economic situation in Poland. The last part of his speech was devoted to answering the questions asked by the participants of the meeting. There was also time for taking photos and backstage conversations.
In the evening a festive gala was held. Certificates of the Manufacturer and Co-manufacturer of Steel Constructions and the prize for the winner of this year’s edition of the competition Steel Construction – Project of the Year were awarded. The representatives of ZEMAN HDF sp. z o.o. collected the statue for the winning object CAVATINA HALL in Bielsko-Biała sp. z o.o.
During the 19th Congress Certificates for the Manufacturer of Steel Constructions were extended, e,g. for Mostostal Puławy S.A.
The evening gala culminated in the performance by DANZEL who presented popular music classics and his own compositions in rock arrangements.
