December 18th, 2007 was a festive day for present workers and pensioners of Mostostal Pulawy because of “Christmas Concert” specially organised by our company. The event was held at POK “Dom Chemika” in Pulawy and the concert was given by Folk-Song and Dance Group “Powisle” and Vocal Group conducted by Michal Matras.

Mostostal Pulawy S.A. was a sponsor of the 10th International Scholarly Conference “The Quality of Life in the Communicatory Society QUALITY OF LIFE 2007” held on 23-25th of November 2007 in Kazimierz Dolny. The conference was prepared by the Institute of Quality Economic and Knowledge Management – part of The Faculty of Economics at University of Maria Curie Sklodowska of Lublin. The Chairman of the Conference Scholarly Committee was Prof. Elzbieta Skrzypek.

In November 2007 Mostostal Puławy S.A. begun the assembling of boiler appliances in the waste incineration plant in Billingham near Cleveland, England. It was the first phase of works related to the building of this boiler ordered by Von Roll. The second phase (assembly of pressure part – 427T) will be carried out since Feb. to Oct. 2008, but this phase ordered other company - DURO DACOVIĆ Termoenergetska Postrojenia d o.o.

On October 23rd, 2007 Mostostal Pulawy S.A. received the Certificate of Steel Structures Producer awarded by Polish Chamber of Steelworks. The presentation took place during the annual conference organized by the Chamber. This years’ conference was held in Jozefow near Warsaw, Poland. The conference gathered numerous representatives of members of the Chamber, companies and institutions cooperating and many invited guests.

At the end of October 2007 Mostostal Pulawy S.A. begun the assembling of a boiler in waste incineration plant in Moerdijk, Holland. Total weight of a boiler is 1650T. 50 high-qualified workers will carry out the assembling. The investor is Afvalverbranding Zuid, Holland and Austrian Energy gave the order.
