On March 25th, 2009 inside the hall of roofed cycling track in Pruszków the commemorative plaque has been unveiled to remember the date of opening of the velodrome. The plaque was founded by Mostostal Pulawy S.A.- General Contractor of the object.
The solemn unveiling was held by the President of Polish Cycling Federation – Wojciech Walkiewicz and the President of the Board – Tadeusz Rybak.
The plaque was made of bronze and now is located inside the main hall of the building being its unquestionable decoration.
The solemn unveiling of the commemorative plague preceded the official beginning of World Championships in Track Cycling 2009 in Pruszkow. The second, after the European Championships in 2008, international sport event organized in the roofed cycling track in Pruszków, the object realized by Mostostal Pulawy, proves its well preparation to be the host of this top rank championships.
