The 53rd Edition of Col. W.F. Skopenko International Cycle Race of Polish-Ukrainian Friendship was held on June 6-12th 2009. The Race consisted of prologue and six stages. The first stage of road cycle racing (72 km, 30 laps of 2400 m each) was organized in Pulawy.
110 cyclers took part in the Race, from 22 teams from Ukraine, Byelorussia and Poland, including the team sponsored by our Company, Sports Club Pogon Mostostal Pulawy . The winner of the Race was a rider from Pogon Mostostal Pulawy, Piotr Krajewski, ranked the first in the final individual classification. He was also awarded the title of the most active rider of the Race. In the team classification the Pulawy team was ranked at the first position.
The Race was accompanied by an all-Polish road cycle racing, the City Major's Cup in the junior category, won without question by Krzysztof Wojdaszka, also a cycler from Pogon Mostostal Pulawy.
