The opening ceremony of entertainment and sports hall Arena Legionowo has taken place on 4th September, 2010. Among the invited guests were Adam Struzik, Marshall of the Mazovia Province, priest Lucjan Święczkowski delegate of the curia of the Warsaw-Praga Diocese and Otylia Jędrzejczak, Olympic Champion.
This modern hall was constructed by the consortium of two companies Mostostal Warszawa S.A. and Mostostal Pulawy S A and this is the third biggest object of that kind in Mazowsze.
The hall Arena Legionowo meets the highest standards of sports objects in Poland and can be adapted for the organization of the biggest international and national sports and cultural events, fairs and exhibitions.
Inside the hall there are: full-scale sports hall, gym, fitness room, climbing wall, biological renewal centre with sauna, ice bath and jacuzzi, hotel, the conference room and restaurant with the view of the main sports field.
During the opening ceremony the audience could see the shows of local sport clubs, the shows of the Volt dance group, cheerleader group, Crazy Dunkers group from France, which presented techniques for dunking the basketball and the concert of Norbi.
The construction of the hall took 16 months.
