In April 2011 Mostostal Puławy S.A. signed an agreement with the company Savex Sp. z o.o. for a delivery and erection of a steel structure in a stack, being a part of the task “Construction of a free-standing 160 m high, two-channel stack, with a reinforced concrete shell, with a goods & passenger hoist”, a part of the Investment “Flue Gas Desulphurisation System Construction” in the Heat and Power Plant of Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” S.A.
Scope of erection of Mostostal Puławy covers:
- erection of a lift shaft by applying, among other things, climbing techniques (shaft height is 160m, 40t) and of a staircase (height is 154m, 85 t),
- erection of a reserve steel duct with the diameter of 6.6 m and height of 160 m (209 t) – erection by welding 6- / 9-meetr long segments of the duct at the ground level and lifting them by means of the hoisting winches installed on the upper floor of the stack (+154 m).
The erection work will be started in the 22nd week and it will be finished in the 27th week of 2011.
