On 26 November of this year, the President, Tadeusz Rybak, took part in the Polish Chemical Forum & Awards Gala held in Warsaw. The opening address was delivered by the Treasury Minister, Włodzimierz Karpiński who spoke about the challenges and opportunities for this dynamically growing sector of the economy. He pointed out the advantages stemming from seeking synergies and an efficiently conducted consolidation process as well as the challenges associated with access to raw materials.
In the opinion of the minister, cooperation between business and science plays a prominent role. "He encouraged Polish companies to work together and cooperate with research centres in the context of the next EU financial perspective.
The Forum brought together an international group of top managers and experts and afforded the possibility of an open debate at the highest level. Representatives of the largest international and Polish companies attended the conference.
