A ceremonial opening of the Regional Waste Management Plant in Dębowiec took place on 7 November 2014. Mostostal Puławy was responsible for a key task within the scope of this project, i.e. the construction of a waste segregation hall with an admin section and Plant maintenance. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Investor - Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej Spółka z o.o. in Zamość, the Contractor, representatives of the Provincial Environmental Protection and Water Management Fund in Lublin, Local Authorities and the President of Zamość.
Mostostal Puławy was responsible for a comprehensive erection of communal waste segregation hall together with a workshop facility and amenity building, hall with waste packaging cleaning line, outdoor roofed over areas, booths, roads and yards, facility petrol station, scale with a control room as well as systems and networks necessary for the functioning of the Plant.
The overall gross project value stood at 64.6 million zł. The European Union's Cohesion Fund co-financing for the undertaking within the framework of the Operational Programme 'Infrastructure and Environment’ amounted to 41 million zł.
