On 6 January 2017, Tadeusz Rybak, the President of the Management Board accepted a distinction on behalf of Mostostal Puławy S.A. at the Voivodeship Sport’s Masters Gala. The company was recognised for its efforts aimed at furthering sports in the Lubelskie region, and in particular for its commitment to the development of cycling.
Results of the 55th Kurier Lubelski Plebiscite for the best and most popular sportsperson were announced at the Voivodeship Sport’s Masters Gala. The top ten:

- Kinga Kołosińska, Monika Brzostek (beach volleyball – AZS UMCS TPS Lublin)
- Katarzyna Krawczyk (wrestling – Cement-Gryf Chełm)
- Paweł Fajdek (athletics – Agros Zamość)
- Justyna Marciniak (karate – LKKT Lublin)
- Weronika Gawlik (handball – MKS Selgros Lublin)
- Dominika Owczarzak (basketball – Pszczółka Polski-Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin)
- Grzegorz Bonin (football – Górnik Łęczna)
- Jakub Piątek (motocross – KM Cross Lublin)
- Adrian Kowal (boxing– Olimp Lublin)
