Once again, Kazimierz Dolny was turned into the cinema capital of Poland for over a week. The guests had the opportunity to see over one hundred productions, meet filmmakers, and attend emotional concerts. Our company served as partner of this year’s Two Riversides Festival. During the festival, CEO Tadeusz Rybak met with Maja Komorowska, Krzysztof Zanussi, and the festival’s artistic director Grażyna Torbicka. Numerous employees of Mostostal Puławy S.A. took advantage of the free admission to the screenings.
The 12th edition was organised under the slogan “Cinema that joins”. Two Riversides once again joined not only two towns – Kazimierz and Janowiec on the Vistula River – but also proved that cinema can be a true alliance of arts. The attendance showed that this festival formula is very popular among the visitors to the Lublin region: the attendance record set last year was broken.
Our HR and Payroll Department organised an informational stand distributing advertising materials concerning employment opportunities at Mostostal Puławy S.A.
During the closing gala, the audience learned the results of the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS COMPETITION. The jury composed of Gabriela Muskała (actor, drama writer), Urszula Antoniak (director, screenwriter) and Piotr Domalewski (actor, director, screenwriter) recognised Emad Aleebrahim-Dehkordi’s “LOVER HEAVEN” as the best movie.
The best movie chosen by the audience was “LOVING VINCENT”, an Oscar-nominated globally unique animation with every frame painted in the technique used by the film’s protagonist, Vincent van Gogh.
