On Friday, 13 April 2012, at 7.30 p.m. the final of “the Dancing with VIPs” was held in the Congress Centre of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. The final Gala was full of attractions. The participants of the last year’s edition of the Dancing with VIPs attended the fashion show and presented the latest collections of the Lublin fashion salons of Ada and Adam. The jurors were the members of the comedy group Smile and Krzysztof Grabczuk, the Vice Marshal of the Lublin Province. The star of the evening was Piotr Cugowski. The income from the tickets sold was allocated for supporting community centres of the Lublin region. Mostostal Puławy joined the charity action and was one of the sponsors of this event.

At the end of March 2012 Mostostal Puławy began installation of a biomass boiler, located near the city of Groningen in the Netherlands. The scope of work includes installation of the CFB boiler pressure part, ducts, fittings, fans, low-pressure piping and exhaust gas purification system. Completion of the work is expected for December this year.

On Sunday, 1 April 2012 the race called “Ślężański Monk”, being traditionally the start of the cycling season in Poland, was held in Sobótka. This was already the 21st time when the cyclists raced over the route around Sobótka. 156 riders arrived at the start of the 120 km long race, all the major cyclists in the elite appeared here. Apart from Polish teams also teams from the Czech Republic, Germany, Belarus and Lithuania participated in the race. Cyclists of KS Pogoń Mostostal Puławy took the following places:
10th Czerkies Michał, 21st Haba Grzegorz, 30th Owsian Arkadiusz, 33rd Kister Paweł, 61st Kirpsza Jacek, 72nd Wręga Wojciech, 79th Detko Artur.

On 29 March 2012 President of the Management Board, Tadeusz Rybak participated in the Investment Forum organised by the Lublin Business Club, which was held at the Europa Hotel in Lublin. This year’s edition was organised under the honorary auspices of the Marshal of the Province of Lubelskie, Mr. Krzysztof Hetman. The subjects of this year’s meeting covered development of road infrastructure, functionality of economic zones as well as situation of the power engineering sector. This undertaking enabled to make the entrepreneurs familiar with the investment needs of the communes of the Lublin region and establish direct cooperation between those groups.

On Monday, 12 March 2012 Mostostal Puławy carried out successful pressure test of the power boiler in Kyröskoski, Finland.
