The Lublin District Boxing Championships were held between 24 and 26 February 2012 in the sports hall of the Primary School No. 1 in Puławy at Kaniowczyków street. The aim of the event was to promote youth amateur boxing, the city and the commune of Puławy. The competition attracted over 100 competitors from the Province of Lublin in four age categories: youngster, cadet, junior, senior. Mostostal Pulawy SA was one of the sponsors of the Championships.

On Saturday, 11 February 2012, a festive gala was held inside the hall of the International Lublin Fair, which crowned the 13th edition of the competition named the Ambassador of the Province of Lublin. The nominations were awarded in three categories: an individual, an institution and a company. Until now, the winners, awarded the title of the Ambassador of the Province, include 37 people, companies and institutions.

On Friday, 10 February 2012, the President of the Board, Mr. Tadeusz Rybak participated in the Forum Zmieniamy Polski Przemysł [We Change Polish Industry] and in the evening Gala to award the titles “Ten, który zmienia polski przemysł” [The One Who Changes Polish Industry]. Those events were organised by the Editors of the Economic Monthly Nowy Przemysł [New Industry] and the portal wnp.pl including the publisher, the Group PTWP S.A. The most important individuals of the Polish and European economic life, politics and science met in the conference rooms of the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw.
