President Tadeusz Rybak participated in the Congress of the Polish Chamber of Steelworks which took place in the Holiday Inn hotel in Jozefow, near Warsaw on 13-14 October 2015. The event lasting two days with the theme of “Sources of competitiveness and development strategies of enterprises in the Polish industry of Steelworks” was enriched by presentations conducted by the invited Guests and a debate during which the interlocutors could exchange views regarding effective development strategies of their companies.

On 12 October 2015 President Tadeusz Rybak participated in the IV edition of the “Chemical Industry Summit & Awards Gala”. This year edition of the “Chemical Industry Summit & Awards Gala” was opened with a speech regarding the future of the European chemical industry by Alexis Brouhns. The CEO of Solvay Europe spoke about challenges faced by Europe in the context of growing Asian markets. The conclusions from the speech of the representative of Solvay Europe set the tone for the subsequent debate.

On 9 October at the IBB Grand Hotel Lublinianka in Lublin, the president Tadeusz Rybak participated in a conference and prize-awarding ceremony to winners of the competition “ORŁY EKSPORTU WOJEWÓDZTWA LUBELSKIEGO” (Eagles of Export of the Lubelski Province). The event was organized as part of the Export Development Program of Bank Zachodni WBK. Mostostal Pułway SA was rewarded in the category: “THE BEST EXPORTER.”

On 11th of October 2015 our company backed the organisation of the 4th BIKE RACE FOR CREAM CAKES. it was an even accompanying the celebration of the 15th Pope Day under the theme: “John Paul II – the Pope of the Family”. All the Puławy residents were invited to take part in the race: children, teenagers and adults – amateurs and cycling teams.

On 6 October 2015 during the Inauguration of the Academic Year, the President Tadeusz Rybak was awarded a statuette and title “Outstanding Graduate of the Technical University of Lublin.” The honourable award is an expression of special distinction to persons of outstanding professional accomplishments, whose activities in the social, economic, academic, political and organisational sphere in the country and beyond brings credit to the Lublin University of Technology.
