The most recent edition of the ACHEMA fair took place on 11 - 15 June 2018 in Frankfurt am Main. Mostostal Puławy was in attendance for the very first time. The international Achema fair is Europe’s biggest exhibition of chemical and lab technologies, controlling and measuring equipment, and biotechnology. The fair included sectors like chemical engineering, research and development, lab technologies, mechanical and thermal process, material technologies, production automation and control technologies, product packaging and storage technologies, pumps, compressors and valves, and OHS.

On 5 June of 2018, Mostostal Puławy S.A. received the “WPROST EAGLES” diploma, which is awarded to companies making particular contributions into the development of the economy, the region, and the country, companies that care for the Republic of Poland on a daily basis not only through grand work and action, but also through seemingly trifle decisions and actions, which determine the shape of contemporary Poland in the daily struggles.

The Polityka “CSR White Leaf” is given to companies declaring implementation of the most important management categories recommended by the ISO 26000 standard (e.g. labour practices including a formalises employee evaluation system, environmental impact management system, social involvement and development of the local community) and continuing to improve their activity for purposes including effective management of the company’s impact on its surroundings.

Mostostal also carries out construction work under project No. 1010 - Construction of new nitric acid installations, neutralization and production of new nitric acid fertilizers. The investment of Grupa Azoty - Puławy includes: construction of a new V nitric acid line, construction of a new IV nitric acid neutralization line and modernization of the existing four nitric acid lines.

Over the course of this year, Mostostal Puławy acquired and completed orders as part of the second stage of investment for the construction of a new plant for granulated fertilizers based on ammonium nitrate at Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A.
